Manage your filters
Protego lets you pause, organize, and back up your filters without deleting any of them.
What you want to filter changes over time. Protego lets you pause everything for a while, switch off one filter without deleting it, and keep your lists tidy with labels and groups. When your lists are right, back them up or share them with a friend.
Pause all filtering at once
Use the Filtering menu at the top of the Filter tab, or in the Protego extension in Safari, to pause every filter for 5 minutes, 15 minutes, 1 hour, or 3 hours. Filtering turns back on when the pause ends. Choose Off to stop filtering until you turn it back on. Both work per device. Browsing Limits and the Transform settings keep working.
Group related keywords
A group gathers related keywords under one name, with a switch of its own. Turn the group off and none of its keywords filter. Turn it back on and they filter again.
Back up or share your filter lists
In List Management, under Advanced on the Filter tab, Export Lists saves the lists you pick to one file. Keep it as a backup, or send it to a friend. Import Lists adds a file’s filters to yours or replaces the lists you pick.
