See how much Protego caught
Protego counts every post your filters catch, and totals them by lifetime, year, and month, with a twelve-month chart and a share image.
Filtering pays off in things that never happen, which makes the payoff impossible to feel. A running figure is what makes it visible: the filters you set up months ago and stopped thinking about turn out to have been working every day since, on a scale you would not have guessed.
Put a number on the posts you never saw
Lifetime is every post Protego has filtered. Highest Month is your busiest month and when it happened. This Year and This Month each carry a percent change against the period before. Posts are the only thing counted: filtered comments and the clutter the Transform settings remove are not. Reveal Mode shows which posts are behind the number.
Spot the months your filters worked hardest
Monthly Activity plots the last twelve months as bars, oldest on the left and the current month rightmost. Press and hold a bar to read that month’s count above the chart, then drag to move between months. With nothing held, that figure is the twelve-month total, so a heavy stretch of Reddit is visible at a glance.
Share your stats as an image
The share button in the Stats screen’s toolbar builds an image of your four counts and the activity chart, then hands it to the share sheet. Where it goes from there is the share sheet’s business: Messages, Photos, or anywhere else.
Keep one total across all your devices
Counting happens on the device you browse on. Each device publishes its own total to iCloud, and the Stats screen adds those totals together. That storage belongs to your Apple Account, not to Protego. Counts from another device arrive once iCloud delivers them, so two devices can briefly disagree, and a device not signed in to iCloud still counts for itself.
Check your total without opening the app
The Protego button in Safari’s toolbar carries two of your counts, All time and This month, so a quick look costs one tap in the middle of scrolling. Tapping either one opens the Stats screen in the app for the rest.
